A response to the warning
we received about filming in the dorms.

EXT. DAY.
WE SEE A CLOSE-UP OF MIKE'S FACE; THE CAMERA PULLS BACK AND WE
SEE THAT HE HAS BEEN DRAWING A LINE ON THE GROUND WITH
CHALK. THE LINE COMES JUST BELOW CIRCLE DRIVE AND, DIVIDES
THE AREA UPON WHICH WE MAY FILM FROM THE AREA UPON WHICH WE
MAY NOT. HIS JOB COMPLETED, MIKE SURVEYS HIS WELL-DONE WORK,
LOOKS UP, SEES THE CAMERA, SMILES A LITTLE
SHEEPISHLY.
MIKE
Hi, thanks
for joining us on the Mike and Ben show. Many of you may not
know this, but the Office of Residential Life doesn't allow
us to film in, on, or around the residential hall property.
We can't even come above Circle Drive. So just so there's no
confusion, I've drawn this line here. We can film on this
side, but not on that side. And that's just what we're
doing.
DURING
THESE LAST LINES, BEN HAS ENTERED, SETTING UP A COUPLE OF
LAWN CHAIRS ON "THEIR" SIDE OF THE LINE. HE ACKNOWLEDGES THE
CAMERA WITH ONLY A PERFUNCTORY NOD.
MIKE
CON'T
Anything
you'd like to add to that, Ben?
BEN
Nah, I
think that about says it all. Just a little message to ORL:
we read you loud and clear.
MIKE
Yep.
Playing by the rules.
BEN
It's all
about honor.
MIKE
That's
right! (PAUSE)
BEN
Mike, you
want a beer?
MIKE
I thought
you would never ask.
THEY DRINK BEER. THE THEME MUSIC STARTS, AND
WE'RE OFF TO THE RACES
