[Myles's
comments are in big, blue, Italicized brackets, much like
these.]
Originally aired Monday,
April 17th.
[This
piece was intended to air in the first season's finale show
but, along with 2 additional Bradley pieces, was excised for
length purposes. My title for this piece was "Oh Come On!"
but Mike let Viera name it instead, since it was his
brainchild, the heir apparent to the Blood Fight. We needed
some girl who wouldn't mind getting semen on her. I called
Jessica but she wasn't available and Willow, who was in my
theater classes, was game. I told her we'd be shooting semen
on her and her response was, "Okay, but I need to be at
rehearsal by 7." She's the first person who gets squirted
and, if you watch, it really gets in her mouth. Like a lot.
She says her mouth tasted like soap the rest of the day.
That's dedication to your
craft.]

The lads
gussy themselves up for a date with Leah, the
winner of last season's Valentine's Day
contest. They pick her up at Sproul Hall
and her experience goes downhill from
there.

[I'm
told that the only reason they left in the part where Leah
says "Hi Price!" in this segment was to annoy Price, who
avoids being on camera like the plague or, alternatively, a
fountain full of
dysentary.]
[Rizwan
suggested we stage a fake protest rally on something silly
or trivial, and quick as a flash Hart said, "Chuck Norris."
I suggested for myself the role of the fervent preacher, and
doing this piece was one of my favorite experiences of the
whole show. What's funny is I don't think I could have done
it without the glasses. It sounds silly and faux-pretentious
but I really need to hide behind a costume to get truly
outrageous. When I'm not in costume, like in "I Hate Movies"
or "Book Fair," I always play it really really
nice.]

A
Message From the Chancellor:

UCLA's
beloved Chancellor Albert Carnesale relates a
few nuggets of wisdom to his student
body.
Featuring:
Albert Carnesale

[Price
and Greg filmed this guy in Westwood when they were getting
footage for another piece on an eccentric barber that ended
up never being completed. We've had a few Chancellor
Carnesales in the history of our show, but this is the first
and my favorite.]
[My
vote for quip of the episode goes to Leah for her response
to the question "You know the worst thing about Hooters?":
"Ugly chicks."]

[Sean
and Tim spent something like 11 hours editing this one. I
can't even imagine what that must have been like. Jeff and
Justin are two classmates of Sean's and mine who joined us
for the rally and gladly stayed on to help with this one.
Jeff's face plant in the inverted fountain is one of our
show's most memorable moments, in my
opinion.]

Heckman's
Plea:

Our
producer announces his intention to fight
tirelessly until Michelle Kwan goes on a date
with him, enlisting encouragement from other
students who urge the young lady to take a
chance.

Sean
Heckman,
Mike
Pesses,
Rebecca
Rosenberg

[I
love how Heckman is seen "producing" Rebecca and Mike in
really vague ways. And if you're reading this, Michelle,
give Sean a call. I think he's earned
it.]

The
triumvirate roams the Santa Monica Pier and
"enjoyment" takes a backseat to lame small-talk
and uncomfortable silences. Ben finds time
to discuss "those people who pick up trash on
campus who are retarded" and a charming couple
from Arizona steals the entire
segment.
Featuring:
Leah
Sprecher,
stoner guys, two darling Arizona
students

[The
rumor is that I only pitched this idea as an excuse to dress
in women's clothes. The rumor is true. My favorite part
about this piece is that Ben's first reaction to hearing
that his friends are bored is to suggest a make-over party.
It's so wildly out of character.]

Ben,
Leah, and Mike get solo moments to discuss how
their evening is going, like on "The Real

Sproul and go drink by themselves.

Still
photographs culled from the episode's various
sketches. The lush black and white
